In towns like Platja d'Aro, Roses or Lloret de Mar, summer accounts for most of many businesses' annual revenue. Ordering a new sign or refreshing your shopfront just as the season starts means rushed timelines, tight deadlines and, often, having to close the premises for a few days for installation in the middle of July. Planning it in winter or early spring means you can choose calmly and have everything ready by Easter.
The elements that suffer most during the off-season (autumn and winter) are the shopfront, the outdoor sign and, for businesses with a fleet, the wrapped vehicles. Sun, sea humidity and wind can fade vinyl, lift corporate letters, or leave an illuminated sign with dark patches. A quick check before reopening shows what just needs cleaning and what needs replacing.
Producing a sign or a vehicle wrap usually takes several weeks, and in spring timelines stretch further because many local businesses order at the same time. As a practical rule of thumb, it's worth requesting a quote and finalising the design before Easter, to guarantee installation with room to spare before the busiest period.
