Some campaigns, openings and construction projects can't wait for the slow manufacturing of a fixed sign: they need immediate visual impact at a contained cost. At Original Graphics we've been printing large-format banners and vinyl since 2017, with inks resistant to the outdoors and an installation that holds up against wind, rain and sun without losing colour.
We take the real measurements of the surface and prepare the design to scale, with resolution high enough that it doesn't look pixelated up close. We print with UV-resistant inks and, depending on the material, apply a matte or gloss laminate. Our own team handles installation — tensioning the banner or applying the vinyl bubble-free — checking it's taut and wrinkle-free before calling it done.
We work with frontlit and backlit banner material depending on whether you need light to pass through, monomeric vinyl for temporary applications and polymeric vinyl for long-lasting installations, with micro-perforated options when you need to see through from one side but not the other.

Whether you need a permit depends on where and how the banner or vinyl is placed. On your own facade or shop window, without encroaching on public space, you usually don't need any paperwork. When the banner occupies a site hoarding on the street, scaffolding facing the pavement, or anything projecting past the building line, most local councils require a public-space occupation or outdoor-advertising permit, and some municipalities — especially in historic centres or protected areas — limit size, colours or content. We help you work out what to check with your local council before manufacturing, so there are no surprises once it's installed.

It depends on where it goes. A banner on your own facade or on the scaffolding of a project with an already-granted building licence usually needs no extra paperwork. If the banner occupies public space (a pavement, a building that isn't yours, or a site hoarding on the street), the local council usually requires a public-space occupation or outdoor-advertising permit. We help you check whether your case needs a permit before we manufacture it.
Once we have the design and measurements, printing is usually ready in 2-4 working days and installation happens the same day or the next, depending on the surface and access. For urgent campaigns (openings, events) we try to tighten the timeline whenever you confirm with enough notice.
Yes, when applied with the right material and technique. Monomeric vinyl for temporary applications is designed to come off clean, without leaving adhesive residue or marking the glass. For long-term installations we use polymeric vinyl, more durable but still removable by a professional.
With UV-resistant inks and a protective laminate, an outdoor banner or vinyl usually holds up for 2 to 4 years without noticeable colour loss, depending on orientation (direct sun or not) and climate zone. For temporary campaigns lasting weeks or months, durability is barely a limiting factor.
